I’ve just updated a new server using pca. This worked well apart from patch 121430-16 which is a publicly available live upgrade . It failed to install:

This patch requires the installation of the latest version of the SUNWlucfg package.
The SUNWlucfg package can be found on the Solaris 10 Update 4 (08/2007) installation media or newer Solaris 10 updates.

This patch requires a new package to be installed (SUNWlucfg) which is only available on the Solaris 10 update 4 release - which isn’t available yet. This thread shows that that isn’t until 27th August - 11 days away. The patch has also been available since 3rd August.

Come on Sun - get your act together and get back to a working and tested patch release system. Don’t release patches until we can use them.
