Just a quick plug for the ladies and gentleman who have put their jobs up on offer for our Yummy Mummy jobswap.

In support of CLIC Sargent, Nominet’s chosen charity of 06/07 we are auctioning off our senior management! The idea is that you bid to job swap with any of our Yummy Mummy roles, and in exchange for your cash we’d be delighted if you could come and work with us for a day.

Every year the staff at Nominet select a charity to support raising thousands of pounds. To motivate them even more Nominet matches every penny for the first £5,000. For the past 18 months we have been supporting CLIC Sargent, an excellent charity caring for children and young people with cancer and their families. We are currently trying to see how much we can raise in support of their Yummy Mummy Week. As a company we encourage flexible working to support staff with children, so we are keen to support this particular campaign.

We have developed a web site for the job swap, where all the job roles are listed, at http://jobswap.nominet.org.uk. This is now open for bids and will close at 12.00pm on Friday 21 September.

The bids have started coming in but we’re sure there are more of you out there who might be able to get involved - we’d love to see the competition for the roles hotting up.

It’s a worthwhile cause, so please do dig deep and if you can’t dig deep then maybe you can spread the word to those who can!
